Trick, Treat, Repeat: Halloween 2026 Events in Grand Prairie, Mansfield, and Arlington

Halloween falls on a Saturday this year, so the fun stretches across a full week. We rounded up city-run and local events around our part of the Metroplex, from trick-or-trails and block parties to a haunt you visit by the carload.

Thursday, October 29

• Annual Fall Block Party, Grand Prairie 5–7 p.m. at Dalworth Recreation Center, 2012 Spikes St.
• SUPER Kids Boo Bash, Mansfield 6–7:30 p.m. at the Mansfield Activities Center, 106 S. Wisteria St. This sensory-friendly event offers indoor trick-or-treating and games for kids ages 2–18 with special needs or activity limitations, designed for kids who don't do well with large crowds or loud music. It's $6 per child; children must be registered through Mansfield Parks & Recreation, and parents stay for the event. The building is wheelchair- and walker-accessible.

Friday, October 30

• Trick or Trail, Grand Prairie 5–7 p.m. at the Tony Shotwell Life Center, 2750 Graham St.

Saturday, October 31

• Haunted Hustle, Grand Prairie, 8 a.m. Halloween morning run at Epic Rec, 2960 Epic Pl. Registration is through RunSignup.
• Street N Treat, Grand Prairie, 5–9 p.m. at Grand Prairie City Hall, 300 W. Main St.

Through November 1

• Fright Fest at Six Flags Over Texas, Arlington: Scare zones, haunted mazes, and night rides on select nights through Sunday, November 1, plus the daytime Tricks and Treats event on Saturdays and Sundays. Not every night is open, so check the park's calendar before you go.

A homeowner's reminder for the weekend

Daylight saving time ends at 2 a.m. on Sunday, November 1. While you set the clocks back, test your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors and replace batteries as needed. It's one of the simplest bits of home maintenance on the calendar.
